Choosing A Wireless Security System

«
»

Wired Security Camera Systems are still superior to wireless in terms of cost, quality, ease of use, and customer satisfaction. Most customers prefer the wired security cameras instead of wireless security cameras, but certain situations make it difficult or too time consuming to run wire to capture video that is farther away. What do you do when you need detail of an object or area that is further away such as 50 or 100 feet? What do you use when you wish to make out license plate from 50 feet a way. I’m sure you will agree that a standard wide angle security camera just won’t do the trick in that scenario.

Ever have a camera that will not see far enough?

Sometimes, when installing a Security Camera System you may have a certain area, gate, or entrance that you wish to monitor. But it is far away. You don’t want to go wireless because of inferior quality and you don’t want to run cable because it is not feasible or just too far.

The Sony EFFIO Sensor Infrared Bullet Security Camera has a manual adjustable 6-60mm Lens and 260 Feet of Infrared Night Vision so you can determine the exact angle and zoom you will need upon install. In darkness the camera automatically switches to black and white/infrared mode, and the INDUSTRIAL HIGH POWERED LEDs trigger. It has 600 lines of ultra high resolution and is able to capture great detail including license plates. It is weather proof and you can put this in virtually any environment without any additional “camera housing”. So if you need more than a wide angle viewing angle, and have some objects or areas that are far away (such as a perimeter), this is an appropriate solution for you.

Monitor an area, entrance or object that is far way without running wires. For example, monitor a customer coming into a gate or business that is 50-100 Foot away. In that situation, you probably do not want a standard wide angle lens – that will not get you close enough to make out any detail from farther away. You may even need more than a 2.8-12mm vari-focal lens. Having the ability to go from 6mm to 60mm may be the flexibility that you need to “hone in” on an area.

Ever use binoculars? The 6-60mm lens is as easy to adjust as “binoculars”. You will set up your “zoom” and “focus” at set up. Choose the angle that you desire from wide (6mm) to a super zoom (60mm), and anywhere in between. You will notice that the 6-60mm lens will provide you more flexibility than ever before.

So if you have an area, entrance, gate, object, or perimeter – any area that is very far away and need to get a close up, or if you simply do not have the ability to run a ton of wire, look no further than our Sony EFFIO E Infrared Bullet Camera with 6-60mm Zoom Lens with 260 Foot of Night Vision in Complete Darkness.
